Hand-building & Wheel Taster

at Studio 150 · Milton Keynes, Woburn Sands

Both making disciplines in one session at Studio 150.

What you’ll doDuration & Schedule 2 hours total:

  • Choose your project (mug, pet bowl, trinket dish, paint palette) and hand-build your form using slab, coil, pinch techniques or mold.

  • Guided decoration followed by free-form underglaze painting on your own pieces.

Capacity: 8 peopleWhat You’ll Learn

  • Hand-Building Foundations: Slab rolling, coil stacking and pinch-pot skills tailored to your chosen project.

  • Surface Decoration Techniques: Underglaze brushing, sponging, sgraffito and stamping to create unique patterns and colour effects.

Materials & Facilities

  • All tools, workstations and aprons provided.

  • Full palette of underglazes, brushes and texture tools.

  • x 1 Kiln firing included

Suitable for beginners and those with some clay experience.

Suitable for

This class is perfect for beginners – no prior experience is needed.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 6 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.
